    That was news to me. Our grandbaby wasn't allowed out of hospital without a car seat, who knew [well you probably did].

    Do they make you watch those "Don't shake your baby" videos before you take the child home in UK.

    We had to watch videos telling us not to shake our babies before we could take the kids home. Full of nice sad stories of parents who got angry with their crying babies and shook them to varying levels of disaster.

    Ahhh... ours were all natural births (even the 10½lb one)- so didn't know the **** before leaving rule.

    Makes sense.
