I think he's been ever present for them this season, so he should be here tomorrow. I wonder if he will get to pick up the Player Of The Year award at some point? Before / half time or after the game? Lets hope he gets a rousing reception and no bollocks off some of the dead heads that usually boo ex players. (Although any Hull City fan will be permitted to boo the whole bloody game towards one ex 'player' on March the 10th -Percy excluded who will no doubt be pulling all game). Apart from his displays last season, I loved his quote referring to our unbeaten away run, stating that if it had been anyone else in the division such as QPR, the press would have been likening them to Barcelona. Top player.
I think he'll get a mixed response tomorrow, but I think it will generally be positive, I doubt he'll accept any award during the game though.
If Hudson is fit for tomorrow, I am worried who is going to mark him and Gerrard at corners and set pieces. I can see us struggling to stop either of those two winning headers.
Never think it's right to applaud ex players, only your own team. I'm old fashioned in that way. But also wrong to boo them. I would make an exception for Ash!
I think what will happen - and rightly so - is he'll get a good reception before the game but as soon as the whistle blows that'll be that. Was an excellent signing for the club and thoroughly deserved his player of the year award but we look ahead to the future now and our future is firmly in the shape of Jack Hobbs and James Chester.
dont see a problem from cardiff regarding any corners. messrs hobbs and chester can take care of hudson and gerrard. let them worry about about our pace which is certainly gerrards weakness. looking at the brief match highlights from the cardiff sains game the bluebirds defence looked all over the shop, both teams did really. should be an interesting game later.
