Seriously, wtf was he playing at???

We were starting to get a grip on the game, a second half change in formation, that's shown it's worked in the past.

And Gerrard ****s it completely, by being a complete **** by a blatant stamp.

One positive is he's now banned for the next couple of games.

I know we can't predict the outcome of the game due to a sending off - but you know full well that 2nd half, would have been so different from the first.

Well done Utd. Fully deserved <ggr>

  2. Rafa always tried to keep him out the heated situations. Add missing games through injuring resulting in him losing his place and it was a recipe for disaster.

    Thirty-three seconds, THIRTY-THREE SECONDS!!! <doh>

If we don't get top 4 then this red will remembered for a while.

Last two seasons contain a slip and a red and no title and top 4.

    Not good.

Sad way his career with us is drifting away.

Only way he can get those 2 things behind him is if he wins the FA Cup and when I say he wins it, I mean he actually contributes to a winning performance.

Unfortunately a lot of people think of Zidanne and the headbutt as it was his last meaningful contribution on a football field, Gerrard needs to make sure that his last is that red card and only wa to do that is either FA Cup final or somehow score the goal to take us back into top 4 in the last game of the season.

Like Skylarker says. Silver lining - he can't play for at least a few games now.

Jamie Carragher said he did it because he was frustrated he didn't start the game and wanted to show his passion.

Ridiculous excuse, Gerrard must know he isn't good enough to start.

The defining moments of the end of his career are costing you the league last season and a CL place this one.

    For what?

Exactly what other than being better than your lot and scoring a few against you?

Reckon when karma is being handed out the last 5/6 years of g&h and such is more than enough cod he's not exactly host Barton or marlin harwood is he?

I know you're using the word but I don't think you understand what 'karma' is.

Intrigued by what Tobes said though, Karma implies that he is now suffering for some ill-gotten gain in the past.
Do you mean all the dives Tobes?

Gerrard has definitely been a bell end in stamping on Herrera. He made life very difficult for the team to get any points but to say that the team lost because of him is an exaggeration. Even worse is to say that he cost liverpool the CL and tens of millions.

The mancs were well on top and in full control before Gerrard got sent off.
