Germany floods: At least 100 dead and hundreds unaccounted for Done some damage these floods over in Germany & Belgium recently. Hope the clear up operation goes well as most of the places look like a bomb has hit site...!! Don't think you are anywhere near are you Oddy...?? Hope not looking at the pictures...
No mate, I'm in Berlin and Swanny is in Munich. Thanks for asking This was further West, over towards the Dutch/Belgium borders. Many areas over there are susceptible to sudden landslides due to the large amount of coal and iron ore extraction, many towns built literally on a maze of tunnels. Not sure if that was a factor here though. Terrible scenes.
