Can't see Myhill or Heaton coming in as a number 2, they are both the ones being mentioned.

If we get a decent keeper he'll be number 2, wouldn't mind him being number 1 though

Gerken impressed during those games but the goals he did let in you had to ask questions. He made the hard things look easy and the easy things went past him.

Think DM needs a new number 1.

Gerken is a reasonable keeper, not great at times, but reasonable.
In a decent and competitive squad he won't be number 1

I said it then and I will say it again, It was a big mistake in selling Stephen Henderson who I thought was our best keeper at the time but GJ (no surprise) only saw him as a 3rd choice. He left got first team football and is now a premier league goalkeeper.

I think you have to question why Gerken was happy for two years to sit on the bench whilst James was number one. Surely if we believed in himself he would be looking for first team football. Where Henderson wanted Premier league football, he decided not to sign a new contract with City because of lack of first team football and left. Now because of his form he has shown he has been signed up. Maybe not first choice but I'm sure, like at Portsmouth he is good enough to force himself in to the first team eventually.
