Sadly hearing that Ger passed away a short time ago. nothing more to say other than it is a sad day for the association.
What is it with people making up hooax deaths. A mod on the Stoke City board (sgtPottermouth or something) had his account hacked and the person posted up saying he had got permission to use the account as the fella had been taken ill and was in hospital, then posted up the next day that he had died. A sick mind to derive humour from such things
after being told, I checked with the source to confirm. He told me it was 100% legit. It isn't like me to jump in to stuff like that, so I guess I have learned my lesson. Ger Loughnane causing me grief, even from his sick bed!
