Bit off topic but i was just looking through some of the Hull City videos on Youtube and came across some of his goals, remember he being a fair weather player......looking at him now though his careers gone tits up.

Would you give him another punt if you had the choice? I thought he was overrated and didn't really do too much when he was here but his free kicks and a few wonder goals kept us up that first season without a doubt.

He was better than Manucho anyway:emoticon-0116-evilg:emoticon-0116-evilg

The fact that he is a free agent after leaving a second division Brazilian club says he is past it now.

On his day, he was ****ing brilliant. Not now though.

Yeah I agree, he was a class above the rest and I'd love him back but that would be heart over head

If we were still playing in the Championship I'd consider it, but he won't be PL quality now. He was a great character and he'll make a great manager one day. He was also one hell of a footballer and I have to say I'm privileged to be able to have called him a Tiger.

How about Okocha? He's probably in his fifties now but I'd still have him.

Even though he is 61 (probably) he is still awesome.

    He'd be better than Koren....

I know some will disagree but for me that Emirates win is our greatest ever day. I have never celebrated a goal like I did those 2 and I practically floated out of the ground in a delirious haze after half an hour of signing non-stop "don't wanna go home...."

And it's worth a mention, people slate the Gooners but the amount that stayed behind to give us a standing ovation and then came up to me afterwards to shake my hand in a non-patronising way was a credit.

I honestly don't think we'll ever surpass that day.

I'm not for the Koren bashing but I'd probably take Okocha back just to watch him do rainbow flicks at half-time.

Agreed up until the last sentence, seems a little pessimistic, beating Chelsea on the opening day to go top of the league will certainly get close.

Getting Geo on a free was probably Phil Brown's finest moment, a class act, and the Arsenal win the high point of our clubs history, looking forward to surpassing it this season mind.

Surely promotion and/or survival were Brownies finest moments? As well as bringing Deano back, first on loan to keep us up and then on a permanent, and obviously Campbell on loan. He had a number of fine moments come to think of it, although an equal amount of shockers unfortunately.

I'd definitely have Geo back, but only because I loved him and I don't pay the wages.

He came to the MLS and he played for SJ I think. They got rid of him because his wages were far to high for the few goals he could produce. I dont think he even made the starting line up most games. His time is long gone.

the Arsenal win was one of the best days, but Wembley will always be citys Finest moment...if it wasn't for that i don't know what would of happened to the club. Probably no Allams for a start...

I was looking for Geovannis Tottenham free kick too, wasn't that the game or a few after Arsenal? He was certainly a good bit of business by Brown but then again i would say the same about Fraizer and also Mendy...and the fact Brown brought Cairney through the ranks....other than that he was never good with signing quality players

Watching the Spurs highlights was surprising: I did not remember just how far out that free-kick was, also Halmosi on the pitch, bizarre!

Speaking of finest moments - these things are always a matter of opinion and frankly I wouldn't disagree with any of those mentioned above, but if I could add another, it would be winning against Fulham in our first ever Premier league game. Let's face it, there's only ever one FIRST so that made it pretty special for me and admittedly, much enhanced by the fact that I actually travelled over for that one.
