As we already know, we have George Rigg on trial with us..... http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/218123-Trialist-George-Rigg He is a RB but can play CM as well. John Ward gave him a 45-minute run out alongside Ollie Clarke in midfield vs Bath last Friday. pirate49 went to the game and said after on here that "Rigg played ok". Today Ward said about Rigg: "George will be with us again this week and we'll take it from there. He's not the biggest or strongest guy, but he's a decent footballer and we are a bit light in terms of numbers in that central midfield area at the moment." So is he just filling the gap while waiting for Gill to get back? or waiting until we get that CM that Ward is after (O'Toole or other)? or is Ward actually interested in his services??
Wouldn't be surprised if JW sees him as the answer to our MC problem I really hope not though might b alright as a player for the future.
i hope he dont see him as the answer because he said himself... "He's not the biggest or strongest guy". might have the potential in the future but we need someone now!
He's probably someone who can provide cover and fill in. It's also good to have a few local lads in there.
think we need another striker with pace, a experienced winger who harrison, hammer, hunter and santos can look up to and that CM position. defensively and keeper wise, we are sound in my eyes.
