Would he be a good option if we sell Koren ? He is quite versatile and can play in the hole as well as on the wing. His scoring from distance would be similar and he is technically good and has a great assist record for Posh. Thoughts????
ambrose would not move beyond the m25 and even if he did would command 3 or 4 times the fee we'd get for koren
Not really as his contract at Palace is running down and he wasn't a regular starter for them last season, we could get him for 1M tops
Decent player, high wages though, he'd be better than Mckenna if he was to play centre mid with Evans, I think Evans would develop into a quality player if he played with Danny Murphy, he'll probaly join someone like Bolton or Blackburn because of the money they have
Bolton are 70m in debt (or poss more, can't remember the exact figure), Blackburn have the Venkys... I don't think either of them have much money.
It'll be interesting to see whether Bruce takes that approach to the games and has a 'in-the-hole' player. If we don't need one, we can expect to see Koren leaving. I think he'll at least give it a go until January, see if it's working.
He likes to play deep. Just because he can pass, doesn't mean he would be suited to playing further up where there is less space.
I like Cairney, but he's too much of a fairy. He needs time on the ball but the Championship is too aggressive for him. He'd be a brilliant Premier League player. He's also one footed and shoots like a small girl. The goals he's scored have been top class finishes. But he needs more power. I'd maybe loan him out if we're signing a couple of midfielders.
