Hello, this is my firs attempt at contacting the Dark Side, but here goes!!!

I am an aspiring writer and am in the process of writing a serial about 5 geordie mates who are survivors of a Zombie appocolyps. Think Auf Wiedersehen pet meets The Walking dead. Anyhow, I need a little help with some of the phrases you guys use and also wondered if any of you would be interested in reading/maybe reviewing it once it's done?

    Ta.

Might want to check your spelling before you take it to your publisher.

Are you a 'substance inspired' writer by any chance?

Peter was walking by the side of the road not knowing where he was or where he was going. It was a cold, damp and misty night. Peter could barely see his hand in front of his face as he tightened his wet trench coat around his frozen, shivering body. Peter saw a glowing light appear through the thick fog, he immediately ran to it with the hope that it may be a sign of life and with the belief that he may be not the only person on this dreary roadside. He ran and ran until he made out a silhouette of what he assumed to be a lamppost with a sign attached. He slowly walked closer towards the silhouette and squinted his eyes as he tried his best to make out the writing on the sign through the mist. All of sudden, a strong but smooth wind blew down the road clearing the mist and revealing the sign. Peters heart sank immediately as he took a sudden step back in horror of what his eyes had been laid upon. Steve coward on the floor, trying to convince himself that what he just saw wasn't real, that maybe this was all just a dream, but no. Steve could not get them three words out of his head. Them three words that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

    Welcome to Pennywell...

There's an opening for ya ;)

"Black and White and Dead All Over"
    "TOON! TOON! Undead army!"

Ordinarily when I'm walking down Northumberland Street and see a zombie, rather than crying out as one would expect, "Ah ****! It's a zombie!" I tend to say something along the lines of, "Eee why aye what a geet radgy marra, divvent kna like, probably a zombie."

    Hope this helps. <ok>
