Just arrived home from a visit to the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium for the cremation service of Geoffrey Luke. Geoffrey was the founder member of the London Branch of Plymouth Argyle Supporters Association (PASALB),the Inaugural Meeting was held on Wednesday the 30th of June 1976. There was a good attendance for a very likable and friendly man, even some from other clubs who Geoffrey got to know over the years of following Argyle. Geoffrey Luke was only 65 years old and will be missed by us all.....a smile for everyone he met and an inquiry of how you were everytime that he came in contact with you.......a sad passing, but lots of memories were shared after the service over a few pints.
Half my social life these days are funerals. Happy thought aint it. Never met nor heard of the guy but that is no real age is it and always sad to see a fellow green go.
