He's never stayed anywhere for long. Definitely one of footballs mercenaries.

We need to move him out due to all the strikers we have brought in.

smiling mercenary? he signed a 2.5 year deal when he came here, so it was obvious that he was using us as a club to get his career back on track, then move on. as far as i know he has never come out and said he will stay here for 5 years so he's never mislead the fans…….

if he can't agree a contract with leicester it does suggest he is asking for too much money. though from fraziers point of view they are only paying £1m so why shouldn't they give him a good wage as they are saving on the transfer fee?

you can be both a nice guy and a mercenary by the way….

I must admit I like Frazier, not sure if he's a Prem striker but will do well in the Championship.

Nothing wrong nor unusual with being a nice guy and having a mercenary attitude in football these days, but there're very few out there who'll elevate their nice guy side above the mercenary benefits available to them.

Money talks for most, and that's the way it is. I assume he's already on a fair screw at Cardiff as a result of our promotion to the Prem in his joining season - pretty sure his contract would have had something in there to cover that likely eventuality when he signed it.

I just wonder if the rewards already available at Cardiff were in excess of what Fraizer could achieve at a Prem club right now, which would he chose - the money or Prem football?

Would like to keep Fraiz as he can do us a cracking job in the championship, alongside one of our other 25 strikers!

Wouldn't be devastated if he left us, however, I wont be surprised if he is still in that God awful red kit of ours come August.

According to OLM, his dads his agent and hes a ruthless bastard.

Hes not a money mercenary for wanting to play in the top flight, i said it last year with Schmeichel that we can't complain if he wanted to leave for Hull.

He may be on more wages with you guys than we are offering him!

I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Palace/elsewhere instead of us, if his dad is trying to get us to get in a wage war for his signature, then we'll be saying so long to that deal.

His father is certainly a very influential factor in his decision making - some say at Hull from past experience that he actually is the decision maker.

Wouldn't blame you at all for not acceding to his father's known excessive demands. As you say, and as I alluded previously, he could well settle for the good wages he's already on with us rather than play Prem football for less.
