Just resurfaced in the land of the living (yes that does included the Stoke board, but not Arsenal)

Returned home from Hospital yesterday, after a 7 day stay. I had a spinal fusion operation which entailed bolting the bottom 2 vertabrae to my sacral joint, with 6 titanium screws and a titanium cage!!

Drugged up to my eyeballs , but I'm home..

.Reading Pott's thread and your replies was as good a tonic as I could have had. I am sincerely touched (yea I know) and grateful to you all for your kind thoughts, you do not know how appreciative I am.

It's going to be a long recovery period, so I will be on here more often than not, so the nurse is coming with the meds so will say thanks again guys.

Whats the difference between NickyB and a Stoke City Midfielder?

NickyB plays outside of his cage.

Hey ho

All the very best

Yours in Stoke

NIck

ps - I have voted in the Mods Election, thanks again Potts for kicking it all off

Jesus wept Nicky <applause>

Welcome back Nicky, glad to here you are back in the land of the living. My mrs had a back fusion years ago she said the pain killers were the best thing about it.

Well Done Sir

Good to have you back and out of the cage!!

Appreciate that must have been one hell of a week for you. Take it slowly and take note of the exercises you are encouraged to do!
