So I've been away (away from the internet that is) for a few weeks now and in that time, I've been bored stiffless of being unable to see what some guy on Twitter thinks are our chances of signing some Frenchman that I pretend to have heard of. It's been hard.

So what has been the transfer gossip? A quick internet browse seems to suggest there has been less than nothing. But I'm sure you lot have found some unreliable source to excite me with!

What were the US games like? I know the scores but any exciting perfomances?

Any amazing not606 moments? Any Tash classics?

Good to be back. Expect some pathetic Cheick Tiote photoshop soon enough.

 

Transfer gossip... Hmm. Erm, not much really. Erdinc from PSG is still ongoing last I heard.

Performances in the US I can't really say as I only listened to the Columbus Crew match. At least we scored

As for not606 moments? BamBam (serial wum from 606) is back in all his many forms and guises.

Transfer Gossip: Not really anything good.

Performances: Abeid is really impressing people, Gosling looks good too! Ba looks pretty terrible.

Not606: Commentary on the Columbus match was hilarious, there's been 2 rep threads which are quite funny.

Other than that been quite boring.

 

After reading what I wrote I'm now thoroughly dejected that nothing has happened in weeks.

 

He hasn't been bad! His passing and link up play has been good, he just hasn't scored...

I think it's down to fitness, but he hasn't looked as good as he did for West Ham

 

We signed 19 year old Brazilian wonderkid Chicinho for £14m from Real Madrid after he scored 42 goals in a season but then he was found out to be an alien and was obliterated by the MiB who then wiped everyone's memories of his existance.

Apart from that, nothing much has happened.

 

We also seem to be inundated with very negative posts recently, I don't see any reason for them personally.

Classic pre-season nerves, probably. It's always a worry whether the team is up to scratch or not. Especially with two massive opening games.

Am I the only one who thinks we need a centre back as much as a striker? I mean, Williamson is awful, and Saylor is hardly the most reliable in terms of injuries.

 

I wouldn't say that Williamson is awful. He's consistent yet his best is simply average in this league.

Always useful to have in the squad though as I've seen far worse CBs in my time.

 

We went for Erdinc - he turned us down, we went for Erdinc - he turned us down again and again and we're still trying to get him or something like that.

Awful was harsh, but I don't trust him one bit. He's slow and his positioning is a liability.
