At times I've noticed a few on here posting a question, prefixed with, I don't know where to ask this, so I'll just post it here. So as I've got one of those, I thought why not have a separate thread for them, don't have to be Leeds related, just any general enquiry. So, with the Ampadu situation and us all pooing our pants that Rodon or Struijk may get injured. Does anyone (Aski ) know the yellow card situation with either of them, are they anywhere near receiving a ban?
Isn't there some sort of cutoff point with ten games to go. You're allowed five more yellows or something like that
Bans are as follows : 1 game ban if a player receives 5 yellow cards before the completion of the 19th league game of the season. 2 game ban if a player receives 10 yellow cards before the completion of the 37th game of the season 3 game ban if a player receives 15 yellow cards up to and including the final game of the season (not including play offs) So as Essex stated the yellow card situation at present is, Bogle (9), Firpo (7) and Tanaka (6). Obviously these 3 are the ones in danger of of reaching 10 yellow cards prior to the next cut off. Sorry have edited the above. I knew I should have just gone to the FA website instead of relying upon a press article in the YEP Sorry cant do anything about the use of white text on a red background, blame the FA for making it virtually unreadable
If Bogle picks up one more yellow before Leeds' 38th matchday of the season - away at Queens Park Rangers, currently scheduled for March 15 - United will be without him for two of their crucial remaining fixtures during the run-in.
Obviously I’d like him to avoid suspension because we will miss his attacking threat - but I don’t see this as season defining. If he got booked in match 37(possible - Millwall) our 38th game is QPR away followed by Swansea home. We might be better off against QPR with a more defensive minded Byram. It’s a place we seemingly always struggle at, I reckon a point there would be seen by most as a good return. I can’t see any of the others triggering a 2 match ban with only 3 games to go.
Reading about this elsewhere, they were playing online poker. The big thing is that the authorities are checking to see if the owners / game managers were using the site to launder money so they're the big fish in this.
Means nothing except for a ban for the player in question. Think Tonali at Newcastle, Ivan Tony at Brentford and Cootes the referee. No chance of points deduction if that’s what you’re worried about.
