Can someone name me the last three Swansea players that were sold?

This comes from a discussion/argument with some guys down the pub over our teams being a selling clubs. I said that we appear to be a club where players come, play and move on for free (we get our monies worth then pass them on!) One then challenged me to name the last three players that we sold.

 

A more difficult question would be, "Who was the last player (or manager, LOL!) to leave the swans and NOT see his career fall off the edge of a cliff? I think it was Sidibe about 15 years ago...?

 

Ryan Harley to Brighton 400k
Jason Scotland to Wigan 2m
Shaun MacDonald to Rotherham? Not sure if we sold him or was free, can't think of many we have got money for recently

 

Martinez and Ricketts haven't done too bad, but generally they have all failed

 

I think the last 3 that we received money for were Scotlan, tudor Jones and shaun mcdonald i might be wrong tho

 

^^^ Wasn't Shaun a free though? That would make it Harley, Scotland, OTJ.

 

McDonald went to Bournemouth didn't he? Can't remember if there was a fee involved.

 

I always laugh at the phrase "selling club". Presuming the club buys players in to replace the ones sold they must also be a "buying club", otherwise they wouldn't have a team. There are teams that move players on more readily I suppose but whatever the answer is to your question we're definitely not one of them.

 

harley (undisclosed fee), mcdonald (80,000) and scotland (2mil) and before them tudor jones (250K)
