Kroenke faces the Fans tonight at the General Meeting. Wenger will be there too, and I'd guess some of the board?

I don't know how this works, I just know that it's a bit of a QnA session.

What are your opinions on the Meeting, who will be there, what do you expect, and what are you hoping for?

Fans Q's will be tightly controlled, otherwise it would just be 100 guys saying 'Spend some ****ing money!'

lol i think that pretty much sums up what most Arsenal fans think. The only thing i would dispute, Is there something going on behind the scenes. I think this was always the plan and they haven't really made it a secret have they? They've just gone about it in a roundabout way.

Bit of a PR stunt and not much else really - although I'd be interested to hear about the fan share scheme.

Samir - I don't know many Arsenal fans who believe the 'self sustaining model' is crap, and telling the world exactly how much money is in the coffers makes little sense given that in 9 weeks time we could be looking to strengthen the squad - any right minded Chairman who thinks his man is worth £15m may change that view if we've told the world we have £50million spare.

Exactly this!! What are they expecting them to say!? "We've got a shed load of cash, just Arsene refuses to spend it, that's why we're not winning trophies." Or maybe "There's no money, we're pocketing it all in dividends *evil laugh*."

They'll say there is money, to spend on the right players. I'm more interested in what Kroenke says and how he plans to expland the club overseas and with additional sponsorship - THIS is where Arsenal lag behind. They have a great stadium, high ticket prices, and good TV income. They compete right up there with the top teams with this. It's the commercial side that lets them down. Shirt sales, pre-season tour income, sponsorship of training kits, official Arsenal endorsed water, all that kinda thing. THAT is what Kroenke and his team need to work on to bring the money in.

Arsenal's only debt is the stadium

Why should they tell us how much is in the kitty ? I bet you wouldn't tell everyone on here how much you've got in the bank

'They don't have to give us an exact figure, but they should at least be honest with us regarding how much we have in the kitty'

Sorry Samir but I'm wondering exactly how this is possible ?

What did he say Cym? I'm guessing you're there? Thanks for keeping us updated :)

Kroenke is still the very best man for the job IMO. He'll develop the commercial interests while keeping the club stable. No ridiculous investment, keep the self sustaining model, and that's just fine by me.

Crumbs!! By the fans I'd guess?
I'm glad they're all there. How many people are there? What's the mood like? From the fans & the board? Does Wenger look happy?

Gona be a lot of opinions being thrown around after this. It's great that you're there Cym, really should give us some great knowledge from it :)
