Tbf I thought they were down months ago and they have managed to pull themselves back into the fight.West Ham down with barely a whimper.
Much worse this way. Loads of Hamners fans will have been thinking 'one more and I'm off' but are now sat with some misguided hope for ages. They might go on to get something somehow. They won’t obviously.
Feels worse schlepping up there and losing before you’ve started then playing quite well for most of the game than having a go at the start and eventually being battered.
This is one you stay until the end for to tell them to **** off but then Newcastle are allowed to ignore the rules on away ends so you can’t even do that properly.Much worse this way. Think in this situation you have to. A couple of games ago probably not. Side point but they need to stop letting Newcastle and now Sunderland do this. Hiding behind nonsense about police advice rather than fixing a fixable issue.Yeah can't really **** the players off as an away fan at Newcastle.
Not sure I'd bother with that distance to travel on a Sunday anyway.

Good job the Toon players have got more pride in the badge than the fans have
There’s some bollocks about development around the ground meaning it’s unsafe to have away fans where they used to be. Force them to have 3000 seats unsold and they’ll find a workaround. In fairness Newcastle are a famously skint club so probably can't afford to make the changes.
Think Sunderland have a 2 year grace period.
