Defo a foul on Raya that

Actually it's a double foul

He's having his shirt pulled and he's got an arm across his neck

Good to see VAR getting it right for a change.
But let's ignore everything before he ran into the arm.

This is the trouble with VAR, it's looking for a reason to disallow, not a reason to give, if you took into account actions prior, there's no way that goal should have been disallowed without giving a penalty, I've seen penalties given for less.

Yeah in all seriousness it's random as ****

Some weeks you see that goal disallowed, some weeks it stands, some weeks it's a pen to the oppo

None of it is consistent.

Yesterday Man City got away with two potential pens against them and a red card on Silva.

Another day (team) and they concede at least one pen and go down to ten men

VAR is all over the shop

But thank **** for VAR today

Trossard fouled Pablo and Rice was wrestling at the back post before the actual foul that was called.

When multiple fouls are taking place like during a corner you surely have to call the first foul play which was defo one of the 2 I've mentioned above.

Bare dodgy

Exactly. The problem I've got with VAR is that the on field monitor is only showing the ref a few seconds of what happened, it's not showing moments before, and it's not showing reverse angles, it's stuck on microseconds and to just keep showing the same clip over and over, that is not a fair assessment - it's like an insurance company only focusing on who hit who and disregarding that the third party pulled out in front of them.

Arsenal deserve to win the title anyway, they been far the better team this season - they just need to sort this **** out or stick it in the bin. Championship have certainly had the right idea by rejecting it.

I think the problem is, like someone else said, that they focus on the things that can be used to disallow a goal.

So they ignored the other multiple fouls, by Arsenal.

How and why did this become the MO, finding reasons to stop goals?

Surely the whole point of the game is who scores the most wins, and that's why we actually bother with it all.

Even telly clappers tune in to see goals, right?

Anyway Notts County winning at Chesterfield (1st leg) at the mo with 3 mins left, so I'm happy with that - use to enjoy going to their gaff, nice little boozer down by the canal, probably a HMO now.

Just watched the highlights and that is 100% a foul on Raya at the end

He's having his shirt pulled and he's got an arm across his neck

If he's not being fouled then he gets the ball.

VAR correct decision and now I've seen it, they got it spot on.
