I saw there were over 20,000 yesterday for the Bradford v Newport L2 game. Didn't know Bury were on the comeback, goodluck to them.

A lot of infighting between the breakaway ‘AFC’ Bury and those who wanted to cling onto the original name. More or less sorted out after a rough start and importantly back at Gigg Lane. It’s a long way back but it doesn’t hugely matter. If you’ve got a club to support and you aren’t a club that’s ever going to win anything then there’s little tangible difference watching them bob around the lower leagues to playing non-league.

I saw the Fleetwood fans go through that journey - they loved it

And that is why FFP exists, to protect people like you,me and everyone else on this forum.
To many many people football and their club in particular is a big part of their life in various ways such as a release from tension, common interest, enjoyment/excitement of watching the game etc etc.
When a club goes bump because of inept management it can really affect people (supporters) badly.
Exactly this. Most football clubs employ hundreds of people and countless other small businesses support the clubs. When it all goes sideways, it’s not players, manager or senior execs in the clubs that suffer.
There seems to be some fantasy that football clubs are somehow different and will look after all of there staff and local businesses.

Fish don't shag they lay eggs and then they get fertilised.
