Don't you remember, Roy, how **** televised games were with no fans during covid? No fans = no atmosphere. Big games need the fans to make it.

There's fans at all the clubs.

Nobody really cares about the same clubs winning everything as much as their own fans like to think.

Unless the big clubs fans stop supporting their clubs why would other clubs being allowed to compete make it less interesting?
 
Nah not really. Been that way the vast majority of my lifetime.

When I was a kid in the 90s I thought the club was actually called 'struggling Southampton'.

Yeah you are right.

I've only been going to games regularly at Pompey since 2012.

Most of what has followed has been hard work but fun.

I've got used to winning since last year.

Now its back down to reality!
