I enjoyed the last game against Belgium.

I 've said before Doku seems to improve everytime I see him play, his performance last night was a pain in the arse for us, the Pep effect ;)

Lukaku seemed to be enjoying the English weather (pissing it down) over the general heat of Roma, and he used his strength well for their second goal (assist) - btw why wasn't the roof closed?

Tielemans was the thorn in our side, fook off Fosse! :cheesy:

Mainoo my mom for England, only because I'm a big softy and like to congratulate younger players when they do well, we need to see more of this guy, enjoyed watching him. Toney was probably unlucky not to have added to his goal from the penalty spot. Bellingham was our saviour, all round good performances from Foden, Bowen.

Stones limped out after 10 mins, he seemed to be carrying a niggle against Brazil, very disappointed in him, but not sad to see him go off. He needs a Pep talk. :bandit:
because it was at Wembley not Wimbledon <laugh>

Pity he couldn't replicate that form when they got relegated.

Suppose you are only as good as the team around you, and the second goal was more from Lukaku's making, much like Haaland with or without a De Bruyne - Yes he'll still score but maybe not as frequently. Take Cole at Chelsea, you have to feel for the guy when you have someone selfish like Sterling in the team.

Tonali’s been charged with 50 more betting offences all from this season by the FA. His initial ban was for bets he made in Italy.

If that results in another ban on top of the one he’s got, Toon will be seething. £55m on someone that’s barely been able to kick a ball.

It is what it is. Those are the rules and if broken (and surely they were) then punishment is deserved. I think afterwards there does need to be some thought about whether this is the correct way to deal with people if it's an addiction which they need help with (and with Tonali it's seeming like it is), I rarely agree with Merson on anything but do so on this.

However, you shouldn't change the rules retrospectively in my opinion and if its a further ban then it'll need to be taken on the chin.

the addiction idea doesn't really hold as he can gamble all he wants just not on football.

M shows how stupid footballers are.
Just get your mate to set an account up, give him hard cash to put into the account.
Like you said, go the casino, bet on horses, golf…anything but football and the teams you were linked to.
