Both possible.

We are playing them at the worse time, in the league I think we have been poor. We pass it nice and can keep posession, but we just do not score goals. From set pieces we are easily the worst in the league, we can have about 15 corners and not a single one will produce a shot on target, let alone a goal.

I saw Darren Eales (the CEO of the club) with a mic in hand today hyping up the fans, this is only the beginning and stuff.

My question to Darren Eales, Dan Ashworth and others, would be why we sold Wood, who added a different dynamic to our game (a strong target man) and signed as a replacement a player that seemingly, Eddie Howe does not want, as he never, ever plays him. Who is in charge of transfers and why was that decision made? If Howe asked for him, drag his ass into an office and ask why he doesn't play him.

I have no problem with the Gordon transfer on paper, I think if we played him we would see his talent. But that's the issue, against Liverpool we went for the 19 year old, played 2 games in the Prem from the bench, Anderson in the starting 11. What a boneidle, moronic decision from a coach and that's not even hindsight, I was shocked when I saw it before. It was a disaster and he was hooked as soon as Pope got his card.

As soon as Gordon came on second half, the game was all Newcastle, but it was the 68th minute, 10 men, and 2-0 down. Way too late.

If Man Utd score 1 early, we have lost today. We have the slowest reacting manager I have seen.

if you really want to be a big six contender and win trophies you need to bin your current management team (they have served their purpose, (got you clear of relegation and established you as a top half team) and buy up to 12 world class players who know how to win trophies or are hungry to win trophies because you did not have any of those today

I liked the commentators comment after the game about all the Newcastle comments about using the "Dark Arts" to ruffle Man U but Man U only needed two such players to beat you today, Casimiro was immense today and Matinez was beating players twice his size to help keep a clean sheet

If the current legal battle against City is won it will be very difficult for any team acquiring rich owners to buy success in future

Your fans were amazing today and deserve to win something

Are you calling us [HASHTAG]#spursy[/HASHTAG] ?

Well not really, because Spurs have actually won domestic trophies in my lifetime - quite an impressive list of trophies in my lifetime, whereas Newcastle, well how do I put this, er haven't won anything in my lifetime.

Not including Europe, Spurs have won:

  • Football League Champions: 1960/1961.
  • The FA Cup Winners: 1960/1961, 1961/1962, 1966/1967, 1980/1981, 1981/1982, 1990/1991.
  • Football League Cup Winners: 1970/1971, 1972/1973, 1998/1999, 2007/2008.

and Newcastle:

When you start comparing teams to Spurs to show how **** they are, that's ****ing harsh man, too harsh.

Weekend was a bit shot, then Newcastle sorted me back on track.

Jimmy Nail, Sting, Wor Cheryl, Robson Green, Chloe Ferry, Sam Fender…your boys took one hell of a beating.

Much respect to Utd though. Done the footballing world and this board in particular a massive favour.

Toon fans had been fapping themselves silly at just winning a few Prem games this season, they’d have been unbearable if they won the cup.
