Mitoma didn't quite have the end product today. Either the final pass or finish. But otherwise excellent in the link up play and getting in dangerous positions. Helped somewhat by being up against an absolute waster of a rb.

Yeah couple passes and shots went astray but did have a hand in March’s first, not sure if he was credited with the assist or not as I think it may have come off star boy Trent but all in all another impressive game.
Just don’t know how Brighton do it, always plucking up these silky ballers no one’s ever heard of.

He interfered with play. Goalkeeper would have just come and cleared it but hesitated and prepared himself to make a save as he thought Rashford was going to shoot. Instead Rashford delayed and let Fernandes come in and shoot instead. Emerson was left in no man’s land.

The rule where linesman don't raise the flag immediately caused this. Flag would've been up .

Because the other one is packed full of stuff he does not want us to see in case we rinse him like Southampton rinsed his team today
Sucky posts a lot about Everton. But his side were not plying Southampton.

Seems like our win has upset Toon fans as much as it has upset City fans.

City are lucky they weren’t 3-0 down at half time, and their keeper proved in the first half he is an utter *****loid so let’s not pretend he’d have done anything different lads.

The rule may be an ass but that's not our fault. City's defenders have come out publicly and said they played Rashford offside and knew he was offside. Yet they all chose to martial him instead of looking at the bloke who was onside, leaving him free to do what he wanted. It was poor defending nothing more, nothing less.

Fck 'em <ok>

Fairly sure we were a victim of this rule against Everton not so long ago. What goes around comes around.

nope, Sigurdsson was ruled to be interfering with play. By moving out of the way.

You are right but this situation is exactly why that rule was brought in. However in this case, if the linesman had flagged Ederson would have known he could go sliding out there and clear the ball because there is nothing Rashford could then do to influence the situation, and he would definitely have got there before Fernandes. You can see from photo that Ederson has stopped to try and save what he thinks is going to be a shot by Rashford. If he knows Rashford cannot play the ball he would have known not to stop and could then comfortably clear.
