Wing Chun is one of the world's youngest Kung Fu styles and the only one founded by a woman. That woman was Ng Mui (or Ng Mei), a Buddhist nun of China's famous Shaolin Temple. Ng Mui was recognised as one of the top five martial artists in China during the early 1700s

Very much the reason he started Bluey. He used to go boxing before the pandemic. Got proper into it and he could handle himself. But it all stopped in lockdown.

When it all opened up again he didn't want to do boxing anymore. Wanted to do "wing chun". Fcked if I know, meant to be some Ip Man stuff. Looks good tbf but I keep forgetting the name, much easier to just say, when are you going ju jitsu? He's well into it though.

I only know origami.
He musta watched ip man<laugh>

I actually knew it was developed by a woman, its this style that bruce Lee adopted and developed himself

The main focus is on using your attackers force against them, makes sense as women are traditionally weaker and more lightweight than men

Anyway, Bruce Lee did Wing Chun and the man was a beast so idc what Bobby and Saff are saying.
Bruce Lee did start on Wing Chun, then famously dumped it for being so gay and ineffective and developed his own combat style called Jeet Kune Do.
