They do a lot for kids football in Thailand but also donated money to the Thai Military Junta who came to power in a coup. Hardly surprising though as they were awarded rights to duty free sales without having to bid on them so suspect they have very close links with government there.

It always strikes me as odd when individuals or companies from developing countries donate to charities etc in developed countries. Surely that money could be a lot more usefully used at home.

Just as I expected......fans are fickle fkrs and have no morals if it suits

Nah mate ... they've done a lot of stuff in Thailand too, including a football academy that gives young players from any background an opportunity to get noticed by professional clubs ....

A football academy ffs......what about sharing money out so families dont have 2 sell thy daughter's , I'm sure between his family and a couple of others they could end poverty for its own people's

They spent 2 billion bhat on Corporate Social Responsibility projects in Thailand since 2017 ... not sure what that translates to... but they didn't have to do anything ...

Probably about 20 quid lol
Its actually a significant amount of money but some of the projects look a little dubious:

It sounds like they are using local villagers to make things to sell in the Leicester City Club Shop!

Or just employing locals of course ... and putting money back into the local economy ... doubt very much they would pay sweat shop wages ... they are very conscious of global image ...

yeah, not worth the bad PR. Then again, it didn't hurt many of the big brands when the news that it was the kids working for peanuts in their sweatshops that was making them rich.

Always too many pages to read back here... So to sum up what I suspect happened?

Newcastle fans celebrating?
Arsenal fans sad?
Spurs jinxing themselves by acting like they've got it in the bag prior to going Spursy on the last day?
Everyone loving on Liverpool because everyone in England want Liverpool to win.

Did I get it correct?

And if they did dickwads like you would be accusing them of all sorts, just like you do Bill Gates, who seems to be the only one of those billionaires that seems to give a ****.

Even if you win tonight, it’s still out of your hands

City have dropped points in. 25% of their games, including to teams outside the "top six".

That is enough of a percentage to keep playing for the league.
