I don't doubt you mate, you've been around long enough, you know instantly when players are a right fit or not. Some times I just think football is stark raving bonkers.

Ole will take the wrap as he should being manager, but them players also need to be asking serious questions of themsleves, I understand Maguire apologised to the fans, my thought would have been not good enough!

You are supposed to be a leader (Maguire), and you lead a fooking disaster show. Man Utd now are a total laughing stock as a result. I'm not even a United fan but even I was embarrassed by what I saw. Salah and Klopp were laughing their frigging heads off at the end, I'll be having nightmares now of that.

Could be worse

It could have been Watford

I am on record on our board as saying we need 2 new CBs (yes 2, i'm not convinced with Varane since his injuries) and a real holding/controlling mid fielder.
Without them we can go through as many managers as are out there and will still be walked through by decent teams.
<laugh>
Hang on... Benny hill for 80m

Then you buy of the current footballs most decorated cbs to partner him.

And you want more.

Just support city bruv, zidane cant even help you if its that bad <laugh>

I didn't even realise you had a new manager mate, until I saw your result, and I'm like how come....looked up who your boss was and all was explained.

Same Manager as against Liverpool, difference was he had a week to sort out tactics and team as opposed to two days when the international players returned

We don't have a leader in the team/squad mate (maybe Cavani), just a lot of players who wave their arms about or stand looking at the sky with hands on hips.
I honestly can't see a single player giving out ****s at half time but can see many sitting there silently fuming and sulking because they think they have done their bit.

Yup. Norwich are just a bouncing ball so will go down with their parachute payments, then reappear at the top of the Championship next season. I can't see the Saudi's accepting relegation for Newcastle, so I'd count them out the equasion, so that leaves Burnley and one other.

Well in fairness, if we have no chance of winning something i am always quite happy if City or Chelsea do.
Leicester was an outlier but i was happier with them <laugh>

Nice way to make money for the club (board) and no pressure on anyone.

Cavani is quality, he'd be nailed on everytime for me, but his age is against him now, but I'd certainly not be pointing any fingers at him.

I think we'll be OK if we can tread water and stay neck and neck until January. They'll sign a few players that give the team a massive boost. It's certainly possible we could be relegated though, no doubt about that.

Personally, I think Leeds could take the drop.

I would think Leeds as they are not anywhere near as good as last year

oh yeah, I can see their business model, just seems unfair on the lower half of the Championship clubs, that just can't compete against it, and the only way they would catch Norwich is with a gamblers risk of boom or bust in a one season attempt financially.

Dunno how Ole can recover from that, Maguire and Shaw were a comedy act on stage, that's for sure. I still to this day scratch my head thinking, £80M ffs. The first time I ever saw that donkey play was in L1 at Sheff Utd when he put through his own net. Egan around the same time went to Sheff Utd, while Maguire had moved on to Leicester. I know which of the two I would have had and the difference in price would have been astronomical.

Mate... Maguire was worth every penny of that £80 million ... <whistle>

I was thinking Leeds, which is a shame after last season.
