Indeed mate. I’m sure they’d prefer to give him time to sort it, but all joking aside, you’re a point ahead of Burnley, who’ve got a game in hand, who plenty were tipping as relegation certainties only 3 weeks back.

It’s still not too late to turn your season around, but it needs to come quick.

Realistically, he's got around 2/3 months max to sort this out. If we're hovering around the drop zone at the end of Feb/March then I think the club will pull the trigger. The club need to back him in Jan and go out and get a creative mid as we're badly lacking ideas in the middle.

It will be a massive embarrassment for Arsenal to sack Arteta after telling everybody about the 'project', but if results don't start turning around and we don't put some points on the board, then I think the club will see that as being less embarrassing then getting relegated.

The only direct quote I can find for it being “one of the best in the world” is from the building contractor, who also just happens to be a lifelong foxes fan.
