VAR is good mate people should embrace it for the great things it does … the focus is far too much on the negatives … there was a major reason it was brought in and it was people moaning about decisions

It's absolute bolloxs. We managed for a lifetime without this crap.

... would it help if he had the oppositions cock in his hand to play it onside.

Actually, despite having been a ref myself, I'm not sure what the rules say about that, mate.

The player may not be interfering with play, but I suspect a foul of some kind.

spirit of the game to me involves in getting big calls right and that was offside , so for me once again VAR proves it's worth
What bollocks. Offside is the attacker gaining an advantage by being beyond the last defender. If you need to draw not only a line across the pitch but then another from an armpit & then spend 3 minutes deciding, then there’s no ****ing advantage. The spirit of the game indeed. <doh>

Fook off was it offside, how did his hand have an advantage, would it help if he had the oppositions cock in his hand to play it onside.

they have to set a line and stick to it or where is the margin ? maybe next season say there's a degree of error ? but until then the rule is there for everyone .. I've not seen a single offside goal thanks var and usually week in week out you used to see goals given that were at times yards offside .. also thanks to var is you socre and are onside you get the goal

They need to get rid of this monstrocity. Players and fans will give up celebrating before long, and waiting for the VAR decision on it.

It's ****. As I said yesterday, if there's going to be controversy then I'd rather see the a controversial goal allowed than be disallowed.

Also as you say, it's killing the fans enjoyment of the game. No longer can you celebrate a goal, because there's always the fear that it will be chalked off.

They should only be allowed when they are scored against Liverpool. Everyone hates them after the Heysel episode.

nah I like the people of Liverpool as people and id like to see them get that dig off the united bunch mate. the more times the title gets passed around the better imo

Leave it out mate, a margin of a hand in front of the guys cock is not offside. They are using pinpoint accuracy the arguments were never over that. You got a bunch of nit pickers operating the system. I'd even doubt the system is that accurate to give such a small margin of error.

It’s illegal to even play the ball with the hand, so why’s it being included in any offside decisions, ffs?
