Going to one of those games is definitely on my bucket list. Keep asking my mate, who’s a gooner but from a Glasgow family, to see if his relatives can get us tickets.

The standard of football is atrocious though - League 2 at best.
It’s not uncommon for National League players to move to SPL clubs, although not Rangers and Celtic.

Yeah I definitely plan on getting up to one one day. League 2 might be an exaggeration but the standard is very poor yes.

I went to see Kilmarnock play St Mirren years ago and I can confirm it was ****.

Celtic penalty saved, go on Rangers!

I don't think it should have been a penalty in the first place. Those sort of tussles take place all the time. Although I'd rather a ref make that decision than VAR, it's far more palatable.

Doesn't matter now...

I remember that game, because I was going out with a Jock bird at the time, who was a mad Rangers fan. We watched it in a pub in North London, with the Irish landlord who was a Celtic fan. The Scots bird stormed out of the pub at one point, didn’t think she was coming back but she did eventually.

Chris Sutton scored a Hat trick iirc?

That Jock bird was weird when it came to religion btw - proper freaked out when she saw I had a picture of the Virgin Mary in my living room, and a crucifix in my hallway (both presents from my mum).
Did she give you an angry chew later on?

Celtic lifted the League Cup with a blatantly offside goal and now equalise by punching the ball into the net.

Anyone against VAR can follow Scottish football if that's the kind of thing they want.

I much prefer the decisions without VAR, even if wrong, it makes it more entertaining. That's why I've never understood all the fuss, the we was robbed was all part and parcel of the game.

It's still the same now anyway, teams are still being robbed pretty much every week.

"Chelsea, apart from one moment of danger from Willian and that shot from Mason Mount, just haven't got going. They look a pale shadow of the team that played superbly to win at Spurs."
(Phil McNumpty, BBC Football Live)

That's because we're their cup final.
