you can see why its a red surely though rcl?

Nope, I can’t.

Terrible thing to happen to Gomez, but that’s never a red card offence.

You can bet had not Gomez been seriously injured Twatkinson would have given a yellow. He only gave the red after he saw what had happened to Gomez.

SERIOUS FOUL PLAY

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

let that sink in

Nope. It's a yellow card and Atkinson initially give him exactly that, then changes his mind after seeing the injury and being screamed at.

yup, as i alluded before i think it could be a red or a yellow but i have to agree with you in that Atkinson was going to give a yellow and he changed his mind because of the injury which imo is wrong and incorrect

I still think Aurier snapped his leg unless he caught his right foot in the turf.

The son challenge sent Gomes careering out of control into Aurier.

There seems to be 2 versions of VAR an Everton version and one for the rest.

We got mugged off by it last week, with the first pen given for **** all and now this.

Firstly that Manc prick Taylor tries his ****ing utmost to give a penalty for Mina falling over. Then he takes 3 minutes to try and bend the new rules on handball to somehow not award a penalty for that obvious handball.

Iwobi gifts Spurs a gilt edged chance and then Gomes gets snapped in 2. The foul was twattish but it was Aurier that snapped him after his foot got caught in the turf btw.

I hope Gomes makes a full recovery, horrendous injury, always seems to happen to the good eggs as well ffs.

**** football, **** VAR.

That wasn't excessive force or endangering an opponent.

You're welcome bru.
