Yeah I said Newcastle were worse.

Chelsea did **** all to open them up. Dodgy pen and an OG. Rudiger hit the bar from 30 yards. Other than that ticky tac ****e.

Meh, Benitez set his side up to defend the width of the penalty area, hardly easy to play through the middle when there’s an entire team sat within 40 sq yards of each other. The pen was slightly fortunate but the OG made no odds as if he doesn’t touch that Barkley puts it in anyway.

Newcastle were embarrassing, I agree. Chelsea hardly looked good though? You seriously think Chelsea looked good? Gtfo.

Barkley would have missed an open goal from 3 yards lol, whatever you say.

Chelsea looked slick on the ball, but they just couldn’t break through and were forced to work the ball wide and swing it into the box, which Newcastle were happy with. That game was all about one side not being interested in an actual game of football.

I'm chief, I have to resort to childish insults in the hope that it validates my argument but, at the same time, I also admit that what Big Ern said is essentially correct, we'd had no money or success ufor 25+years until we went to the City for money, just after we let Micheal Knoighton do some keepie uppies and offered us £30m he didn't have.
