Prem is a different level from the Championship though. Although there are a number of teams who look like they could be involved in a relegation scrap again next season, so there's no bankers for the drop.

not sure who that was. You pretty much played half your season without coutinho anyway and everyone knows your achilles heel was your defence.

We may banter about VVD but of course he has improved your defence and given you better balance.

I think in the league you've been above average but in terms of CL, you were never going to go out against porto and having drawn city it was a good chance you'd beat them as you are their bogey side (and pep has only 1 tactic that plays into klippery klopp)

Sorry mate I just know a good side when I see one. You have pieces of a good side but even Mourinho's big red bus put your boys to the sword so I'm fairly certain Real will not be fearing anything on Merseyside other than having their possessions stolen.

We'll see, I'm sure you'll enjoy rubbing my nose in it if you beat them or win it, and I won't be hiding after it all goes wrong like some people did <whistle>
 
Buffon is rattled to ****, I wonder if there'd be so much sympathy if it were Mourinho moaning like a slapped hoe.
 
I'm seeing if I can find odds on Wolves being best of the rest next year (so 7th) they are already better than about 10 of the PL teams and will strengthen massively in the summer.

Only potential **** up is if Mendes tries to move on all his players this summer, but I think he will wait until they have had a year in the PL before they all leave for top teams.

Dustbin for a heart. I'm fairly sure that's the words of a sore loser. If that was Jose he'd be plastered all over the papers as a bad loser but everybody loves Buffoon so he gets a pass.

haha yea that phrase didn't come out well.

Yea jose would get the sore loser treatment because he has previous.

Buffon as far as i know has been a gent all his life which is why he gets a pass.

Just like if Messi hits the deck its few and far between whereas if ronnie goes it's because he's doing it all the time the big ponce. He tried it a few times last night when he was 1 on 1 with benatia
