That's a long old rant to tell us that you still haven't got over being banned from the Arsenal board <laugh>

It's a badge of honour, mate. It proved that you simply could not cope with me ripping the absolute piss out of you, day after long day!

<rofl> If that's the case, then why have you spent the last 7 years since your ban making yourself look like a twat ?

Yeah I listened to that...I was going to do a thread asking the same question after I heard that. As good as Salah has been, he can't have that tag. Those you mentioned and someone as recent as Mahrez was even mentioned after he helped Lesta win the league.

Absolutely!

It's the hypocrisy that always gets to me, every time TalkShite goes off on a 'Pool ****-fest. Not so long ago, it was agreed by one and all that Kane isn't going to be the best he can be unless he leaves Spurs to go and win something; and yet, apparently, Mo Salah is the best African player ever to have graced the Prem; and if he isn't yet, he will be once he's been at 'Pool for 4 or 5 more seasons! <doh>

What the **** is Salah going to win at 'Pool playing under the German equivalent of Boris Johnson?

Sweet **** all, that's what!

Rattled to **** in case Salah wins the Golden boot and a trophy and Kane finishes with **** all. <laugh>

The most interesting thing I listened to, on the way home, was the phone-in that Adrian Durham and Darren Gough had about whether or not Mo Salah is the greatest ever African footballer to play in the Prem.

It was hilarious listening to the Mousers who phoned in! <laugh>

"Let's go to the lines," Durham would say, "We've got Dwayne, who's a Liverpool fan."

And I already knew exactly what Dwayne was going to say.

"Errrm! Okay, la! Tanks fer 'avin me on th' show, Aid, like," said Dwayne, in an accent so thick that if you dropped it in the Mersey it would sink without a trace.

"That's okay, fella. What's your point?"

"Yeah, well. I jus' wanted to make a point about Mo, like. I agree 100% with Schtevie Gerrard, that Mo is da greatest African player ever to grace da Premier league. Ever! I don't see how der can be any disputing dat fact, Aid, like."

And so it went on. With twat after Liverpudlian twat choking up the phone lines to declare that Salah - who has won absolutely **** all - is a better player than the likes of Drogba, Essien, Yaya Toure, etc. It was the best comedy I had heard since Pixie was berating his own fans, banning them from the Arsenal board, and telling everyone, smugly, that Wenger should be given another 10 years.
<laugh>

The bitterness that we're still in the big cup is eating away at you Hiag bigtime.

Salah, 6 games for Chelsea years ago and 7 months at Liverpool, yeah he should have had a handful of league titles and CL's under his belt by now.<laugh>

He was recently voted African player of the year as voted for by African people of many African nations, not bad for a decent young feller in his 1st full season in the Prem.:emoticon-0100-smile

There's no way Salah is the best, he's so far off Drogba that it's beyond ridiculous. It's utterly ******ed to even say it. Which is why Gerrard said it, cos he's just a ****ing deep fried crispy fannypad *****.

<laugh>

The closest that anyone was allowed to come to saying that was a Chelsea fan, who put forward a very convincing case for Drogba.

Durham tried to bait him, and you could tell that the Chav fan was at the tipping-point of telling Durham to take his nose out of Klipperty's arse crack and to stop being a total clown!

I so much wanted to phone in and say, "He's good, that Mo Farah (mis-reading fully intended), but he's going to have to leave 'Pool to win anything. Even Gerrard must see that. Catch you later, Adrian. Cheers, pal."

I would have laughed my cock off knowing full well that white vans would have been crashing all over Merseyside.

Not in the slightest, mate.

That quote of yours is priceless and will stay in my signature forever! It is a constant reminder to everyone, that no matter how massively you may **** up in your life, Pixie will always have gone that extra wum ****-up mile! <laugh>

Salah is a fantastic player. I'd have him at Spurs in the blink of an eye, but he's clearly destined for PSG, Barca or Real. Probably next Summer.

It was Talkshite's phone-in that had me chortling, as I drove home, I was far from rattled, believe me, Pix! I was laughing so hard at certain bits that I nearly steered into a tree!

Bitter as **** mate <laugh>

I'll double that wager with you. I'll bet that one of Pooch's starlets (as you like to call them) will leave for a another club, before Salah leaves Liverpool

£40 to charity

Agreed ?

Just lifted this from Phil McNumpty's blog, on BBC Football:-

"The Argentine has assembled a team of great promise - but eventually that promise must be turned into trophies. It is what top teams do and Tottenham's time must be now."

<doh>
What about 'Pool? What the **** have they won, of any real note, over the last decade?

Why must we win anything just yet? Why can't we be left alone to consolidate our top 4 legacy, and content ourselves with becoming increasingly more competitive in the league and all competitions?

This constant hounding of Poch and our wonderful squad betrays a footy knowledge at its most basic scratch 'n' sniff level.

No bets with you, Pix.

Sorry, but I've been burned by you too many times in the past. You are far too f'king slippery, mate.

Sorry.

Fergie would win the PL every season with your squad.

Poch has to start delivering.

In other news, Big Sam has stated his intention to stay at Goodison Park until he dies.

I can see him becoming the next Howard Kendall.
