While he's a good player, by signing Sakho the club are telling De Boer he's already on borrowed time. He's trying to teach prop forwards to waltz. You can't do that in a league like this.
It was a weird decision to hire him in the first place considering the type of players they have and his preferred style. He seems to have now decided to use a 'kick it at the big guy's head' tactic, which may have helped him keep his job as they actually looked an EPL side. That said Burnley helped by not offering anything in attack for 85mins.

Parrish comes across as a bit clueless tbh. While he has an obvious axe to grind, Simon Jordan slates him in his book (which is a very good read btw).
