Match Day Thread General commentary and opinions

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Dec 28, 2014.

  1. We don't have one of these, lads. I thought it would be nice to have somewhere to go to post general comments about every and any match that is going on any where in the Prem.

    As I write this, it's currently 2-2 £ity v Burnley.

Pellagrini must come under some pressure if he slips up, especially with Chavs only managing a dismal 1-1 against Saints (who should have won that match).

Also, Big Sam must now see what a complete donkey Carroll is?

  2. Oooo! 1-1 Toon v Everton.

Could that be a bacon-saving equalizer for Pardew!

  3. The Gunners manage to hold on to a narrow win against the Spanners.

I would have have preferred the draw, but I'd rather a Gunners' win, because I think, of the two, the Spanners would be the harder to us Spurs to catch.

  4. Ozzie, I note on the Chav board, that you predicted an easy 0-3 win against Saints, today. How did you get on?

How, UTD should have score 3 or more but poor finishing, Spuds played well, but little up front

But a draw was probably a fair result.

He probably means because Rooney produced a rugby tackle on Kane in the area. A penalty all day long.

That said, you were the better team.

Sometimes Hiag we don't always get what we wish for but the way the results turned out with City dropping points at home there was no harm done. Still we are looking forward to our annual turkey shoot on New Years Day. :)

  12. Just waiting for Leicester to complete their superb comeback and score a third, to send the Mouser board into an epileptic fit of grief and self-incrimination...

  13. Saints 2 v 0 Arsenal...

This is how one commentator summed up the Gunners, after they conceded their second goal:-

    "Just woeful."

I could not have put it better, myself.
    <rofl>

PS: Where's Chuckles when you want a bit of real banter?

Stoke denied one of the most blatant penalties you'll see all season by Oliver. Smalling handles right in front of the Ref's face - nothing given!

    Some things never change!....

  16. "We had to score more. It's strange to beat Arsenal 2-0 and you're a little bit critical as we should have had three or four more at least today."
(Ronald Koeman, after Saints tore the Gunners a new arsehole)

What Koeman is saying, here, is that he's upset that Saints didn't beat Arsenal 6 nil.

  18. The Mighty Spurs Juggernaut 3 - 1 Hopeless Chavs...

    ****! ****! ****!

    Woo Hoo!

Barely had I finished writing my previous post when the rout continues with yet another goal!

  19. Spurs 4 - 2 Chavs...

What a match! Easily the best game of the season, so far.

All it needs is for Kane to get his hat-trick for us Spurs fans to find ourselves in Wonderland!
