Rough stuff. Third time under it and as sick as ever after, then they turf you out after a couple of hours. Still feel rough as bollocks. Although it was a hernia down toward the nether regions and the nurse doing the shaving was no too bad a little lower, lower, lowwwwwer
Been "under" twice and being an insomniac there was something rather wonderful at being out of it by the time I'd reached 7. You're right though wakening up is not so good. Gas now that was terrible stuff. Always sick after that when I was a wee boy at the dentist.
I've had it 7 times and 1 more to come. I don't mind it, love waking up on it, it's the medicine they give you beforehand that I hate cause you can't get the taste out of your mouth.
