Bbc solent reporting Southampton sign gazza for 2.5 million on a 4 year deal . If true what a great bit of buisness by the club
The 4 year deal is over most saints sites, money varies but a good deal if it happens, I feel a few transfer deals will be sorted today, or is that wishful thinking? UTG!!
We need more to substantiate what we are saying, otherwise it reflects bad on not606. The important part is to find the rough time that this was heard, then we can find the broadcast.

Just been doing a search and I can't find a solid fee mentioned but it would be good to have these deals completed asap.
I can find clear evidence of the source of the rumours from Solent and its presenters, close to a deal but I cannot substantiate those fees/terms.

deal of the season if we get 2.5mil plus loan back!!! be sad to see him go but he was destined to obviously!! and can i say a massive well done to hess for pulling this one out the bag in terms of signing him last season for nothing. there are not many players who can turn you 2.5mil profit in a season but hess has found one and heres hoping he can find another couple over the next few years!!!
IF this happens, will it go down as better deal then an exchange of tracksuits (Tony Cascarino). I await for someone, somewhere to go and make that a story now if it happens - lol

Not good. Have a friend who is a Grimsby fan. Told me this morning that Forecast is the worst keeper he has EVER seen at Blundell Park. And they've had some rubbish between the sticks over the past decade or so. However, hope there is now a bit of a transfer kitty available for 3-4 '1st team additions' as Mad Dog put it. UTG.

I can't believe the negativity of the Forecast loan, who on hear has actually seen him play? You can't judge a player simply based on a wikipedia page. I doubt we would have brought him in if MA didn't think he couldn't do a job for us. We are looking a Nelson so Forecast could just be back up to allow Hawkes to go out on loan... Lets not condem the lad before we see him play!! Good luck to Paulo too, he is clearly a talent and hope he goes on to bigger and better things.
