There seem to be rumours gathering pace that it'll be a Gale - Rondon straight swap, and that we are in negotiations with liverpool to try and sign one of their strikers with the mitro sale money. Revamped strike force of Rondon, Ings and Muto... Believe it when I see it.
If it’s Ings I’d guess we’d be loaning first. Not overwhelmed by the choice mind, but as long as Joselu isn’t starting - as he has all pre season - it’s an upgrade.
What I don't understand though is if we sign Ings (or someone else), Muto and Rondon yet we only play with 1 up front then what gives?
Don’t think muto is CF, I think he’s competition for Perez at 10. As it stands it’s Gayle or Joselu up top, which is a bit embarrassing. I might be wrong though, but Rafa likes two per position so that’s how I see it.
My feelings exactly,it wasn't that long ago(3 years maybe)we were rumoured to be looking at him along with Ince,since then neither have set the world alight,2 bullets dodged imho
Actually, I would prefer the other way round. Ings in and not Rondon as I think Ings is more of a goal scorer. Now someone will produce the stats to show that’s not true.
Charnley still has those bullets .................. always ready to shoot ourselves in the foot at any given time.
