I was just wondering if anyone on here was going to the Gateshead game today? They are playing Hudderfield at the International Stadium.

I am going with a Huddersfield fan so I will be in their end.

    Come on Gateshead!

Some of the guys that go to the away games go to watch the Heed when we don't have a game, I might pop over myself to watch them.

Wey, HBA might be there again. He's been to watch Gateshead before. Honestly, I love everything he does! Goes to watch 'Heed, encourages compatriots to join the Toon and plays like a dream... When he's not broken that is.

Half time. 1-0 to Huddersfield with Lee Novak getting on the scoresheet against his former club. Gateshead have done well and are keeping the ball on the deck pretty well. The number 10 upfront for Gateshead looks good!

Finished 1-0. Not a great match, but Gateshead held their own. James Curtis was a rock at the back and their new no. 3 and no. 10 looked particularly good.

I have to agree with that <ok>

The weather at one point on the roof was pretty frightening at one point! Probably the most exciting thing of the match!

Not so frightening that you were thinking of jumping where you?

Haha I know, me and my mate were watching the rain come in from the river <laugh>
    Where abouts were you sat?

Thunder brought out mock cries of being frightened, but no jumps. Did you end up going?

I was sat with the Huddersfield fans (all 20 of them or something). I was sat row P seat 80, just to the left of the half way line about half way up.

I think the kid behind me was really scared of the thunder and lightning, poor soul!

Ah you must've been pretty near me then. I was bang on half way, on the leather-y seats, around row q or something, sat next to a ginger lad (was in a white t-shirt). Was surprised by the amount of Huddersfield fans, would say around 50-60 at a push, didn't think any would bother. No noise from them though.

Anyone know if any of the academy lads will get loaned to Gateshead again next season? Sorry that its got nothing to do with this thread. If the number 10 looked good, that probs means they won't be interested in any of the strikers (Donaldson etc.)

I wasn't expecting any noise to be honest. They just wanted to see their new players and to see who had travelled. About 5 players never travelled, 2 were injured so they were guessing the other 3 are on their way out.

To be honest I didn't really look across to the Gateshead end so I wouldn't have seen you! I was wearing a "The Who" black t-shirt! I went to a pub near the stadium (what looked like to be at a dead end) before and after the game. Quite a decent pint actually!

Not sure, would like to see Inman/Vuckic/Tavernier go out on loan to them though. Their no. 10 was a new signing, and think he was either a striker or a left winger, seemed to be on the left more often than up top.

I heard Huddersfield fans had a reputation for being loud so expected a few songs but fair enough, can understand that.
Don't think I saw you, wasn't really paying too much attention to my surroundings either, what was the pub called?

Inman possibly, but Vuckic needs to get game time here, as I think he is ready (he certainly looked it against Arsenal and Accrington in the cup games). Tavernier possibly, but he may get an offer for a loan to a League 1/2 side.
