What do people think? Sell this summer or try and keep him? He does genuinely seem to be improving of late.

I would keep him. He knows our style and he is beginning to step up a gear. We will see more next season I'm sure.

Keep him. He has the ability to unlock defences. He got an assist today after only being on for a few minutes! Some of the passes he produces are sublime. The way I see it we have two players who have the ability to create chances from nothing in tight games - Gaston and Lallana. Gaston produced superb through ball for the only goal against West Brom for example.

He is potentially a game changer, especially if he comes on as a sub. His pass for Rickie's goal was sublime. And don't forget, he scored a goal against Everton almost as good as Adam's one today. I say keep him at all costs.

I certainly wouldn't be looking to sell him. If Gastón is happy to stay, I am happy for Gastón to stay.

If a good offer came in I'd accept it, and we don't know whether he'd like to move or not. Happy for him to stay otherwise though.

Make sure he is here for pre-season. If we remember, he came back after summer duties with Uruguay very late. He needs to be in with the boys from the beginning, get a good MP pre-season and then next season really go for it.

If he isn't going to do that, then move him on. I'd make the decision before the 1st September

Based on that, we'd better hope that all the teams containing our boys get knocked out of the World Cup as early as possible!

If he wants to stay and fight then I would definitely keep him as he appears to be settling in a bit.
Provides a distinct different option off the bench

Unfortunately, I think Gaston's will go through... Adam and Rickie and Jayrod and Luke and Corkie and Callum and Kelvin and Morgan will all be back for pre-season. <whistle>

So you were the young one at school and I was the old one!

BTW, as a lover of all things physics and science, I'll ignore the fact that I was born when the sun was transiting the constellation of Virgo during the day - I see it more as I was born 44.5 light years or 14.46 parsecs ago. But for those wanting to look at the stars, Mars is currently in Virgo (rises about 11pm) and so is Saturn (rises at about 2am). I recommend your get you binoculars out to take a look ;)

    No7 ;)

PS only joking though I am an amateur astronomer (not astrologer!!!!) and regularly take time to use my scope on the skies!!!

If he's happy to stay, keep him 100%. I didn't think that earlier in the season, but he's changed my mind absolutely.

Keep, if he's happy here. I do like a happy group.

Gaston offers impact from the bench or as an alternative when we play teams who park the Bus. I know, 15m, but he is still young enough to "adapt, change and improve". Unlike for example Osvaldo, who is good as he's ever going to get.

Keep until he wants to leave, which will probably be at the end of next season.
