The Gas Girls have been declared Champions of the Gloucestershire county women's football league. They are now waiting for further news from the FA regarding their application for promotion into tier 6 of the women's football pyramid. many congratulations to the GAS Girls and I hope that not only will they be accepted but go on to climb up through the pyramid.
Should have won promotion last season but with 1 game to go, they cancelled the season because of covid which meant they couldn't get promoted. They fully deserve this and there shouldn't be any issues with moving up a league. City women's team meanwhile got relegated. Only the gas girls can hold their heads up in Bristol out of both men's and women's teams.

They deserve it. I mean it would really be a kick in the teeth if they didn't let them get promoted. Last season they went undefeated and was 1 win aay from being champions but they ended up voiding the season because of covid. So to win it the league this season and not be allowed to get promoted would be completely unfair/unjust. So common sense prevailed.

Natty is the club's captain and a fine captain at that. She's very passionate towards Rovers and she plays as CB. Some of her traits reminds me a lot of Andy Tilson and Steve Elliott. She rarely scores. I remember the first time I took my girls to watch the Gas Girls play. They were invited to meet the players in the dressing room before kick off to meet the players. I was allowed in too and the players were so welcoming. Natty immediately took my girls and gave them a Rovers ball each and introduced my girls to each player 1 by 1 and got them to sign the balls and then had a big team photo with the girls in it. She then sat with my girls and spoke to them for ages about school and football. It was really good of her and something my girls will never forget.
Pervert. They were all dressed in their kit ready to go out for their warm up. This was their first ever home game in the season where they was 1 win away from promotion but the season got cancelled because of of covid.
