Looks like he might be on his way to us (Norwich). Is he any good? I must confess iv not seen much of him play but am I right in saying he played 30+ games for you last year?

    Cheers for any info.

Steady 100% grafter, effective but not crowd pleasing...Would be useful for you next season in 2nd tier

A utility midfielder, brought in to play anywhere across the middle. A bit inconsistent, could look good one week and rubbish the next. Plenty of work-rate and would make a reasonable Championship squad player...

Quite an intelligent player for us. I remember his debut where he came on and showed good composure and he knows where to pass and how to create space. Think he would be a good signing for Championship level. Perhaps not quite able enough for a PL squad, although I wouldn't have been unhappy if he was included in our squad.

Also now has 2 promotions to the PL in 3 years under his belt so knows how to do it.

Not the fastest, but committed and a hard-worker - as we found in the Play-Off final!

I would say that he was always good when played in his real position, which is as a CDM/box to box.

He's brilliant. He must be because Harry kept on telling us he was the right sort. Some here agreed about that for precisely 3 games. I can't really help you. I've only seen him play 7 or 8 times. I must have missed the bits that Harry saw in him.

Cheers all. Sounds like a decent signing overall. Be a shame to lose Fer and replace him with "steady" though. But I guess that's the Championship for you :-/
