He’s been sacked by Bournemouth despite them finishing 15th after an awful start which had Scott Parker as manager. Mind boggling
Yeah not sure what they are thinking there! He did well to consolidate after an awful start to the season and dragged them to safety comfortably in the end. Surely deserved a chance to show what he can do over a pre-season. Must have someone of some quality lined up and ready to take over.
What? That is crazy. They looked nailed on for relegation then he steadied them and managed to get some great results. So who are they getting in to replace him?

That's a laughable decision from them Edit; just saw the allegations of a manager raping an underage girl. You never know
Just to clarify - no way I'm insinuating GO is a rapist, just strange both bits of news broke very close to each other today.
But then they sacked him... Makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. I'd not be surprised if he's innocent, but about to be dragged through the courts for this thing with the young lass, and the club can't do with the distraction leading up to the season or the fallout afterwards.
Well something's clearly happened or he's fallen out with someone, cos results clearly aren't the reason.
Andoni Iraola is the replacement, looks to be a very sideway move - he's kept a small team Rayo Vallecano in La Liga for 2 years (12th/11th) and made a cup semi final but past that has very little history as a manager? For someone who has never experienced English football before seems a really strange move as he could be out by October if he doesn't start well. Be hilarious if they have to go back and beg Gary O'Neill to come back...
