To be fair to Neville. Despite being from utd, he is a very good pundit alongside Carragher and will probably make a good manager one day.
The Valencia fans are mental and will expect Neville to go about turning over the likes of Barca and Real and once he's done that they will want pretty football and to get in the CL. It's a huge job and if that lot take a dislike to you then your in trouble.
Partizan rivalries aside, I'll really miss Chuckle 1 as a pundit. He's been superb and was, well as big a breath of fresh air since Hansen in the early 90's, before he became stale, in all honesty. I wish him well, but not so much that I don't want to see him take over from Lineker at the BBC one day. His brother is ****ing dire though.

Not so sure myself. Think its more important who their next manager is and the style of play he wants them doing Is. look at the dif with us with klopp with the same players Brendan had.
Think the ability to criticise and be honest about your old club will always take you far in punditry, Neville has always been fairly honest about Man U (good and bad). The difference being Alan Smith, who never sees fault in Arsenal despite their failure over the years. And thats what makes him a crap pundit.
If he can translate his obvious excellent knowledge into management (far from a given) then he could go on to have a great career as a manager, as there's no doubt he understands the game & he's got the credibility from having been part of a very successful side for donkeys years.
Best pundit by far. Will be missed. Not the best pundits but I do enjoy hearing them speak are Hansen and Souness.
