Taking my biased aside for a moment, he's the best pundit on tv at the moment, he has so much knowledge about the game, sky have done excellently to get him in, he doesn't talk nonsense like most pundits i.e. Jamie Redknapp and the Former liverpool players on MOTD. I always want to hear what he says, the most funny thing he said last about liverpool was something about chippy tea and he said they were supoosed to be championshop winning teams. I'm really glad sky got him because he's been there done and got the t-shirt and would've done well on MOTD but it wasn't tp be. were you worried that he was going to fail as a pundit on sky ?
What did he say about United being taught a lesson in football twice by a team who is 11th in Spain's league?
I have been impressed by Gary's punditry on Sky and is a neutral pundit unlike certain other pundits.
A lot of bitterness coming out on here for our nev. Say what you like about the guy, but was a brilliant professional. Retired without being pushed Is doing commentary as he played football I for one think he is one of the best out there at the moment, suprised me tbh as I thought he would be a bitter like redknapp or townsend shame he didnt go into management, think if he would be next UTD manager if he put as much effort into that as he has in his career and now punditry
