Currently doing the rounds. Neville will be the next Fulham manager. Finally some class to that part of the world.

Interesting if true. Always seemed like the one who would go into management even with his TV work.

Who knows, maybe it will be Gary who takes charge in the future.

Its a running theme in that part of the world. Though tbf, Fulham hasn't always been bad. Launched Coleman's managerial career in a way. Not sure what happened to Jean Tig.... Something like that. In recent years though you're right.

Tigane actually did well for a while. I think Coleman was dead man walking for some time. Fulham is one of those clubs where no matter what short term success you might have, eventually you'll be fighting relegation at some point. Something very weird about that club, has the voodoo heebeejeebies about it.

Why not, Phil Neville is caretaker manager of Valencia. Seems anything is possible :bandit:

Why would he possibly have to give up his England role, plus punditry work just to manage Fulham?

I think Gary would make a fantastic manager. He has a natural leader attribute about him and cool head. I would personally rather have Gary as manager than Ryan. But overall, I want advanced football like what LVG is building. WAIT TREBLE!! Don't shoot me!! LOL.

Anyway, I want advanced great football. I don't have any love for "kick it forward and counter" type play. YES! I would love United to raise their game to Bayern and Barca's level.

I think the chances of this happening are unlikely, the bookies are still offering 6/1 about it which is a big enough price to suggest that there isn't anything substantial in the story. If there was any truth in it every man and his dog would be lumping on.

If he did go there I think it would be a good move for him, Fulham are sleeping giants in the championship, so if he has any talent as a manager then I think he can get them up towards the top end of the table challenging for atleast a play off place. They've got one of the strongest squads in the division, and they are one of the wealthiest clubs too.

Yes, Phil is staying on as his assistant.

Gotta feel a bit sorry for Phil tbh. 15 years in Gary's shadow for Utd and England, finally gets a managerial opportunity and the older brother sweeps back in ahead of him, with no club management experience at all. Back in the shadow you go son.

I reckon Phil will snap and kill him this time...

    Phil is a gimp.
Gary was a better player, a better pundit, and most probably a better manager.
I mean, there is a reason Gary played for United till the end and Phillip was shipped off to Everton.

Phil is better at cricket though.

Double century opening partnership with Matthew Hayden for Greenmount, oh yes.

    <ok>

Also seem to remember reading, that most thought that Phil was a technically better footballer than Gary.

Yeah, true enough. He was thought to be the better player of the two, was a left back.

Ended up more of a bits and pieces player as he couldn't shift Dennis Irwin, Gary got established at right back.
