Would have been gushing all over you on MOTD next season if you guys had got promoted - sorry Gary, you'll have to cope another season without the Foxes in the PL. At least Manesh and Claridge will still be able to fawn all over you in the Football League show
Claridge doesn't even slightly care about us. Manish does but never shows it. Gary loves us and wants everyone to know it.
Strange that you'd what to create a tread about this but I'll bite - Manish and particularly Claridge are very professional when discussing Leicester and I actually get the impression they don't like to be seen as discussing us too much. Lineker did drop the odd give-away line about being a supporter, particularly when things weren't going well.
I wouldn't say Claridge doesn't care about us - he got very passionate when he was unhappy about Sven being here. But he does try to distance himself from the many clubs he's played for... he wants to be seen as impartial.
I've seen him mention Millwall as 'us' a lot. Yeah he might not hate us, but he's not like the others. He rarely, if ever, mentions Leicester as a club he used to play for. Even when asked about his goal against Palace, he didn't seem to want to talk about it.
Really? I've not heard that. I thought his club was Pompey? I know Manish always says "your old club Leicester" which he doesn't seem to like!
