Not yet official but I've been expecting it, off to Oldham to assist, maybe.. http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/ASP/news/news.asp?NewsItemId=23085
Looks true, quite sad...http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/04/yeovil-sack-gary-johnson-league-one Did well for us, City went so long with no success, but we have moved on.....I do wish him well though!
I'll always remember him for the good times with us, but thought he lost the plot at the end..It was becoming inevitable Yeovil would part company with him at some point.
Well it possibly had to come, although going through the fixtures for the bottom 8 teams last night Yeovil do seem to have a reasonable set of fixtures over the next few weeks.... V peterbro was just the wrong time! POSH are now having a reval moment and think I think will win 3 or 4 games against anyone
Not that surprised tbh, but good luck to the guy. Gave me some of my best moments at City that I will remember for a long time. Also gave me a big happy wave when I let him pull out in front of me in a traffic jam on a match day, so thats my GJ claim to fame! I am sure he wont be gardening for too long....
This news was almost inevitable given their league position and lack of goals. The really good times at City under GJ were very good indeed, despite what was probably going on behind the scenes, but I wouldn't want him back either. He's done well for a while at Yeovil (twice) and with us. He struggled big time at Northampton
The greatest city manager since Alan Dicks (Cotts is still work in progress but good so far) Good luck to him and thanks for nearly getting us 90 minutes close to the promised land - seeing the bookies predictions being wrong every week that season was magic.
wonder if the difference between a 6 figure number and a manager with no strings attached will make it easier for Gills?
