    Junior Hoilett
JUNIOR Hoilett makes his return to Ewood Park tonight but, had former Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer had his way, the QPR’s winger homecoming would have been sooner.
In September then Rovers manager Bowyer thought he had set-up a loan deal to bring Hoilett back to the club where he scored 14 goals in 92 games between 2009 and 2012.
At that time the 25-year-old was still waiting to make his first Championship appearance of the season having fallen out of favour at QPR.
Loftus Road bosses pulled the plug on the deal, however, leaving Bowyer bitterly disappointed.
Since then Hoilett has worked his way back into QPR’s plans, firstly under caretaker manager Neil Warnock, and now under new boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Rovers captain Grant Hanley, a fellow Academy graduate, said: “Junior was here for a while and he’s a top player.
“I know it’s not quite worked out for him at QPR so far but he’s back in their team and he’s got quality.”
